okay! can concentrate already. haha. well, i feel quite bored now. i mean, even though i'm talking to natw, there's nothing i can really do. after blogging, it'll be back to staring at the screen and racking my brain for something doable on the internet. so! i will try to make this a longggg but pointless blogpost. good for me, bad for you. haha.

okay, with that done,

church was great today. although i didn't know how to sing half the songs, it's okay. because everything's about God, not me. :) sunday school class was cool too. we learnt all about the split between Roman Catholics and Protestants. and how Lutherans came about. i keep thinking about social studies! the conflict in Northern Ireland, Catholics against Protestants. also, today i learnt that Lutherans are named after the man, Martin Luther. and no, he is not the same person as Martin Luther King. hahahaha. "...erm is Martin Luther black?"

okay, then i went off to meet sze. but i left too early and missed lunch with k. ohwell, next week. i took a very crowded bus to heeren. crossed over to cine. donated to some child thing. received a brochure. struggled with the huge glass door. stepped into cine. it looks like a ghost mall okay! nobody there and everything taped up or covered. leaned against the glass and smsed sze. discouraged her from coming here and changed the meeting point to taka.

okay. so i walk to taka and pretending that i'm not some loner loser, walked into Guess. checked out their bags and wallets and shoes (omg those heels!) and jackets. then sze came along and we both went to have lunch. (finally!)

ohohoh. claire came to brmc today! haha she looked so pretty and brought krispy kremes. i had an original. poor kara was sick and she was hesitating so much about whether or not to have one. she ate one, in the end. claire and i chatted quite a bit. :) found out all about her melbourne trip. so interesting!

sze and i had lunch at the coffee club. i ordered carbonara, but it took forever to come! i downed two glasses of water before it came. and even then, i only took a few mouthfuls before my mind started rejecting the carbonara. haha. i forced myself to eat some more because sze made me say grace and i was saying how i was grateful for the food and i will eat for the starving kids in africa. but there i was, cannot finish. :( oh but sze was so bad okay! she made me say grace, so i obediently closed my eyes and started praying. then when i opened my eyes, GUESS WHO WAS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF PUTTING A PIECE OF LETTUCE ON MY CARBONARA?! hahaha loserr la, sze!

okay, fast-forward. we started shopping. it was so frustrating because taka didn't have anything good. so we went to paragon-- also nothing. then tangs-- also nothing. far east-- also nothing.

BUT! at tangs, i bought eyeliner! haha remember the blogpost where i told you about the cool MAC eyeliner called Phone Number? YES I GOT THAT! :D:D:D:D but ugh. i thought it was 22 bucks and was all prepared to pay when i got to the cashier and she scanned it and told me it was 27 bucks. oh well. it's still very nice and very cool. :)

and at far east, i bought a shirt! yay. it was a total impulse buy, i swear. i just walked past it, walked back and pointed, "i like this!" sze thought i was talking about the jacket, but i was really talking about the shirt. it had a cool picture at the front. like a waterpaint cartoon. ahh, i just couldn't resist. so i asked the aunty how much was it.

"twenty nine dollars."
"huhhh, no discount ah?" (SZE IS A GENIUS.)
"yeah, no discount ah?"
"hmm then i give you...."
"twenty-five?"
"give me one more dollar la, okay? twenty-six."
"okay, deal!"

eh three dollars also money okay. three dollars can buy two bowls of gan mian. :D hahaha. okay. then sze asked if i was going to try it or not. i told her i didn't need to cos it's free size. (actually, i didn't know whether i could fit or not. i just assumed i could. and then pretended to sze that it was free size so i don't lose face. hahaha.) i think the aunty heard it because she called out from inside the shop that it's free size. i asked for a new piece and she said that it was the only piece. then she said that everything in her shop is a one-piece-only and how she doesn't allow trying on of clothes. so i'm happy. i am the only girl in singapore to have that shirt okay! and it's seriously damn pretty. :D:D:D

okay yes, then we took a bus to marina square. for iS. checked up the directory and went to look for it. on the way, we got a neon green starhub balloon each and stupid sze kept hitting me with it. hahaha. when we passed by warehouse, we popped in for a little looksie looksie and OMG I SAW THIS SUPER NICE SUPER PRETTY SUPER AWESOME DRESS. but it's black. and $267. ahhhh. it's really really pretty! why! why!

anyway! in the end, we found iS and tried on a dress each. black too. it looked pretty nice, made me look slim and just the right length. except it made my arms look fat. $73 though. it's my last resort. so if i really can't get anything else, i'll get that.

then we decided to take a rest and go to millenia walk for bakerzin :) haven't had that in the longest time! at millenia walk, we stopped by this shop called Strut and i saw this other pretty pretty white-and-silver dress. it's really pretty. it's not very me. but $157 after 20% discount. i feel like i can be a fairy princess in it. suddenly, i see myself in it again with a nice hairdo and pretty white heels. argh. i can't make up my mind!

because while so many people think that i shouldn't get the warehouse dress (it's 267 bucks!), my mom's totally fine with the price! omg argh. i'm super tempted. i shall try it on and see first. maybe i look like shit in it.

oh! but haji lane with jacq on tuesday! :D photo-taking/dress-shopping. maybe i'll find something nicer in haji lane :)

rail mall/coffee bean with natw tomorrow. she's gonna pass me photocopied chinese worksheets and THE LIGHT PINK STOCKINGS WHICH I'VE WANTED FOR AGES AND THAT SHE BOUGHT FOR ME!!!! omg i love you, nat!
