and the closest thing to a photoshoot. there's actually a series of pictures where we flounced around the room, trying to be models. but pjs aren't exactly the most glamorous outfit on earth, are they? that's my lovely cousin, silin, and her long sexy legs. while i'm just trying not to to grimace at my thunder thighs.

julia says that everybody's becoming more emo in their blogposts, me included. but that ain't true! bloody mary came this morning, which meant that the angst i went through the few days before doesn't count! it's called Premenstrual Syndrome, isn't it?

it's defined as
A varied group of physical and psychological symptoms, including abdominal bloating, breast tenderness, headache, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, and depression, that occur from 2 to 7 days before the onset of menstruation and cease shortly after menses begins.
that really does explains a lot, doesn't it? to me and to you. a win-win situation!

so anyway, since my period is officially here, i can't pms any longer because it "cease(s) shortly after menses begins". so as i wait for my room to get colder with the convection currents provided by my air-conditioner, i shall blog happy things!

so let me tell you about my new dream of a venture.
people around the people around me are getting into business ventures. julia's mom and jong's brother. they're like inspirations to me in a distant way because they're like second-degree acquaintances to me, and having a business! i think that's damn exciting. because me and natw is always discussing about cafes and eateries. this topic came up again today!

i told nat that if i were ever to go into a business venture, i wouldn't just do it with one person. i'll get many many people to do it with me, all my best girlfriends. now, the list includes jacq, sze, natw, julia, avril and emily. not only will we get more capital, we don't have to hire! :D not to mention how different people can be used for different purposes. i've actually already assigned roles, but i ain't typing it out here. mainly because i think i might be starting to scare you just a little.

but! nevertheless. i was thinking a cafe-like eatery which also sells books! hahaha. or maybe just a cafe-like eatery. (or if you prefer, an eatery-like cafe.) i'd like it to have a Victorian feel to it, complete with dainty teacups, silhouette portraits, beautiful printed wallpaper and lace curtains. and to save cost, maybe we can DIY many of the furniture and decor, so we wouldn't need such a high capital. and with a lower capital, we can lower the prices of our food. we all know that cheap food serves as free publicity! people flock to cheap food at pretty places, that's for sure! of course the food has to be nice too. it will have to be both an olfactory and gastronomic delight for our customers.

it's strange, the things that i want to do before i'm even of age.
maybe this desire to start a business can actually be a good thing. maybe i can major in business and minor in creative writing (not forgetting my other dream!). can people minor in psych too? hmmmm.

so the people reading my blog, are you excited at the scenario i just painted? ain't it all exciting and sounds absolutely wonderful? it'd be like an adventure; one with bondage. the end doesn't really matter because either way, we win! if the business collapses, then we'll have the experience and memories. if the business succeeds, woohoo, money rolling in!

of course, it's just a daydream.

but hey!
dreams come true.
