today, i felt so much like a chef at work!

i helped my sister with her art and after that, i decided at that moment that i wanted to make chawanmushi. my mom was out, so i decided to do it before she came back.

i improvised the recipe offhand! and it tastes so nice. i made everything so quickly. and it was so enjoyable. i steamed it to perfection this time. smooth and it glides down your throat. oooh~ i didn't add meat into it because it was expired and smells funny. i sliced the mushrooms and fishcake quite fast. i estimated ingredients with a confidence that it would eventually be delicious. i washed everything up, like a clean freak with OCD. my mom didn't even scold me when she got back. she taught me how to steam it properly.

i swear, after this hectic week, i'm making doughnuts. nothing's stopping me now!

so anyway, i saw this damn pretty dress in far east today. it's 59.90! :( so expensive but so pretty. it's at Valerie. i'm going to see if bangkok sells such dresses. i want to go crazy with shopping at bangkok, but my wardrobe's bursting. i really wish that chinese new year would just pass soon so i can wear all my new clothes. it's so sad that it's the o level year and i can't shop/go out as much. i miss shopping!!!
