i went for the long-awaited haircut, but it wasn't as fantastic as i'd thought it would be.
First, the lady completely did not understand what i wanted. so my hair now looks like it's the same as before. does not, at all, look like the hairstyle which i wanted. doesn't even look like a different hairstyle. you might not be able to tell the difference, even.
Second, ever since i got my long hair, haircuts don't seem that bad to me anymore. it's just that one thing which infuriates me every time; FRINGE. dammit, it's too short again!!!! it's in between bangs and fringe. but you will get my word that i will salvage it. i will!
Third, i realised that the hairstyle which i wanted is the current hairstyle which my sister has. so i'm going to make an appointment with the guy which cut her hair. after i return from taiwan and before school starts. no time for complaints. i'm just going to get it done.
ARG DAMMIT, MY FRINGE! i hope it grows out, i really do. i hope it doesn't screw up the christmas party and my taiwan trip.
and speaking of my taiwan trip, please be prepared for lots and lots of pictures. with my mom going, it's going to be like a FASHION SHOW. seriously. hahaha. she bought so many stockings/tights/high socks. and also watching shows which provides tips for winter wear. i'm just hoping my hair doesn't ruin it all. sorry, i meant my FRINGE.
so yes.
my math tutor has already started on teaching me new topics. i'm quite happy about that. it gives me a start on next year's marathon. and seeing how i don't have stamina, i'll really need it. i guess i'm just worried about how i'm going to have to cope with both tuition work and school homework. i think i might really have to sacrifice much of my computer time. come back from school and start homework immediately. maybe for two or three hours before having a nap. then resume work again after dinner.
i'm actually planning alot for next year. because my math tutor told me that sec 3 and sec 4 can be considered as one long long year. so if you work really hard in sec 3 but slack in sec 4, you'll still do badly. i was so tempted to ask, "what about slacking in sec 3 and working hard in sec 4?" but i think i already know the answer myself-- i'll just have to work doubly hard, to compensate for my sec 3 slackiness.
also thinking about saving up money by forgoing recess, in a sense that i bring food from home. have to start planning a list of food, which i can prepare easily and healthily by myself. i was considering the way jong brought those Japanese boiled peas to school. that would be nice and healthy. :D
there are many other plans which i have been toying with. not sure how i'm going to carry them out, or if i'm going to carry them at all. it's just my big dreams at work again. heh.
oh right. Bloody Mary's here. my mom thinks it's fortunate, so it would be gone by the time we're at taiwan. i don't really mind because it seems like a long time since it last came, but it's really giving me a hard time! also, it reminded me of the times i leaked in school. so i've decided to buy a long cardigan when in taiwan. navy blue is preferred, but i guess i can live with white. OH! i would have my school sweater by time, won't i? aha! hahahah. i'm so smart. :D i guess a cardigan would still be nicer, right? (to those who went EWWWWWWWWWW at my mention of the school sweater)
okays then. i think i'm going to shit now. byebye!
