did we learn about Translocation for chapter 10? because i can't seem to remember.
but i remembered some random facts.
like how there's pepsinogen and prerennin, which are inactive enzymes. provided the sutiable pH environment, they'll become pepsin and rennin respectively.
and then trypsinogen becomes trypsin with the help of enterokinase(sp?)
maltose --> glucose + glucose
sucrose --> glucose + fructose
lactose --> glucose + galactose
pulmonary circulation and systemic circuit.
chyme in stomach is semi-liquid.
chyme in small intestine is semi-solid.
arterioclerosis is the fatty deposits blocking arterioles.
atheroclerosis is the fatty deposits blocking arteries.
cirrhosis is something to do with the repeatedly scarred cells or summat.
myocardial infarction is heart attack.
erthryoctyes are red blood cells.
leucocytes are white blood cells.
agglutination is the clumping of blood when the serum (plasma without fibrinogen) didn't match with the red blood cells.
agglutinnins are the groups of protein in the serum.
agglutinogens are the proteins found on the surface of a cell.
okay. so i peeped at the textbook a little to correct some misconceptions here and there.
but i will continue studying. lunchbreak for now!
