science does wonders (?)(!)

chemistry made me condition my hair
because our hair is slightly acidic at a pH of 5. our shampoo contains alkalis to get rid of the grease (OIL!!!) and this neutralises our hair's pH. in order to get shiny and healthy hair, you must condition your hair because conditioner contains acids, so as to get your hair back to it's slightly-acidic state. the textbook also says that hair conditioners usually contain citric or tartaric acid, but my conditioner contains Glutamic Acid. whereas my shampoo contains endless unheard ammoniums and sodiums in small print.

biology made me conscious of my heartbeat
because ever since that stupid exercise someone made us do in class, i have been consciously/unconsciously feeling my heatbeat throb in my chest and/or head. and then sometimes i give in to the temptation of timing my heartbeat for 6 seconds. thumb on pulse, 1 2 3 4 5... then multiply by 10. 72 beats per minute is normal. which is why when you get more then 7 beats per 6 seconds, you are abnormal.

physics...
physics...
okay. sorry, Mr. Physics. you haven't inspired/influenced me yet.
get a number and wait in line.

so anyway, you are bored. and i understand because i have blogged about the whole "science have changed me" before. but i can't help it. i conditioned my hair today.

i think i can understand why some people are such workaholics
because the sense of satisfaction and/or awe&wonderment is absolutely invigorating!
i did Geography today. chapters 3 and 4 on Natural Vegetation and The Uses of Forests. i don't know if anything went into my head. but i made sure to read through them at least twice, and that's after understanding them fully.

guess where i went to study today?
hint:
i had Iced Chocolate, with whipped cream. which lasted me 1.5 hours. Grande-sized.

okay. should i tell you my homework plan for today?

hm, yes. so you will be impressed. and know that i'm actually changing over a new leaf. (only for this period of eoys, though. after that, i'm back to the ol' slacky me.)

tonight-
social studies 1(c) & (d),
MGROCS journal; pop culture, post-its & last-minute touchups,

i did my Modulus Functions Worksheet 1 assignment questions already. didn't have any more foolscap paper, so i did it on plain A4 paper. i really did try my hardest hardest. but i need to clarify some doubts.

there!

again, avril, do not be intimidated by all these. because you know me. i am still that "aiya, tomorrow then do la!" girl you always knew. eoys is just taking its toll on me.
