MONDAY
(the first monday i didn't get the Monday Blues.)

i was looking forward to this monday for a number of reasons.
1) the new timetable was being implemented. change is good and exciting. if only we can change our timetable again.

2) there's going to be the Inconvenient Truth movie after school. at Cathay! with a one-way transport! and that means that

3) everybody's going shopping after that, yo! which is, of course, what i did too. i went Marine Square with Julia and Jacq. we poked around shops and had a lovely lunch at Yoshinoya, where we did vague planning of our June hols schedule. and gossip, too. :D

(okay. fine. i shall blog a little more about the Inconvenient Truth.)
here's the inconvenient truth, it was really such a sleepable environment! there was air-con (which smelled nice), comfy big chairs (good to sleep in) and Al Gore's voice was so hypnotic! i was just closing my eyes for a moment and i realised i was drifting off to sleep, and forced myself to open my eyes.

i mean, there was some alarming information about this movie. but i'm not going into a big hooha. i still think that America's the country which will break it all-- y'know, like if they at least helped with the situation, global warming wouldn't be that bad. but as we all know, this is a sensitive topic. so let's just go on to the shopping.

like i said earlier, me jacq and julia linked arms and skipped over to marina square. then julia wanted to go to vivo, but jacq had to go home (sad, because of what she'll miss!), so i went to vivo with julia. we reached vivo around 7++PM.

went to Candy Empire first thing because julia has never been to Candy Empire!!!! i know, shocking news. she bought Starburst for her siblings and we proceeded with the search for Forever 21.

julia bought three tops altogether, from ______, Forever 21 and River Island. one top from each shop. (and the underlined space doesn't mean i'm keeping the shop a secret so you can't go there. it's called "forgetfulness"?) the one from River Island was such a steal because julia got it at 50% discount! i mean, we're learning financial literacy now, so we all know that 50% discount is a whopping HALF THE MARKED PRICE! woah. just look at your awed faces. i know i know.

so anyway, we finished the shopping after leaving River Island and this was where the whole "thing" started. let's see, we first walked to the bus interchange (through the mrt way) and then decided to take a taxi home so we went down to try flagging one. after futile efforts, we cross the overhead bridge and waited.

we walked further and further down, until we saw the vivo taxi stand (YES, back to where we started! grr.) and thought, heck, i might as well get into the queue. so julia queued while i went to buy some drinks to cool ourselves down. limeade and coke are life savers, you know that?

we finally, we got ourselves a taxi at, oh i don't know, 9.00PM? that's 20 minutes trying to flag a taxi. it's crazy. but we did it anyway. the taxi first to julia's house, then to my house.

so i reached home and bathed and then slept a while later.

TUESDAY
(Labour Day)

i just stayed at home and started on a new ff chapter. didn't manage to complete it, but that's beside the point. i'm starting to "put pieces together" and my sister's my helper with that. can't manage a chapter without her. y'know, opinions and all. yeah.

it was a boring day, quite. but i was just living life to the fullest, before i have to go back to school the next day.

OH. i bet you guys didn't even know that i bought a new bottle. but that's because i left my beloved beloved teensy white-and-black Nike waterbottle in the cinema. i didn't even realise until my mom asked me about it, to which i originally said, "in my bag la." see, that's how unknowing i am.

but i also saw this darling sportshoes while buying my bottle. i'm so going to get it over the weekend! my daddy said he'll buy it for me. yay! i mean, i don't have a sportshoe yet and i just KNOW this is going to be such a hit! lalala~

WEDNESDAY
(today.)

there was PE, where we did softball with the wonky gloves.

and then there was ss, which flew past in a blur and i can't remember what we did. oh! mindmap.

and then there was math, which we did financial literacy, which kinda ties in with shopping what with the discounts and all, which made it tolerable.

and then there was recess, where i had to wait so long just to get my mee soto and when i finally got it, avril was finishing her SECOND hotdog bun.

and then there was chem SPA, which we did titration and i forgot to bring my labcoat, but turns out natw had mine on so she got booked instead, to which i felt worse.

and then there was chinese, which was what had the ability to make time stop suddenly, and it tortured me to much i really should start practicing selective memory loss.

and then there was afterschool, where there was a planned NASA lunch, but N bailed on us and ASA had to go without lunch. boycott KOREA!

and then there was 'a while ago', where i woke up from my afternoon nap to find myself HORRIBLY over the planned wakeup time! i planned to wake up at 4.30PM, but woke up at 5.43PM instead. this made me pissed (at myself) and i hurriedly came to blog. good thing there isn't any homework tonight. except for the printing of my Mathematical Journal 2 and (if i feel like it) math worksheet assignment.

speaking of math, i got back my math (A&E) CA2 results and it ain't pleasant. like i've been saying so many times before, for the three years in mg, my term 2 results are always the worse! it's like this evil consistent pattern or something. always. term 2. tsktsk.

i vow to do better for term 3.

and since i've decided to continue my ff chapter at night, i allow myself to blog a little more, so i shall talk a little about room makeovers.

i have been thinking about one ever since avril mentioned her room makeover. i don't think i'll be approved to have a room makeover at this point of time if i requested because what i have in mind, it'll be hard to maintain. and anyway, i just got my walls repainted A SICKENING BLUE COLOUR a few months back, so nadah. also, if i asked for a room makeover, my siblings would want one too. so i shall wait. wait for the appropriate time. and i personally think that the MOST appropriate time is when we move house. (i've been living in my second house for a really long time now, about 7 years? yeah.) so when we move house, i'd naturally have to have a room makeover, and i'll beg for the right to decide for myself because, i am, afterall, a sane and responsible adult-to-be! :D

i'm not quite willing to disclose details about this imaginary room makeover of mine, i don't know why. it's not like anybody's going to copy me or something. hmm, oh wells, i guess i just want it to be such a surprise that when i finally unveil my perfect room, everybody'll go "ohMAHword! audrey, your room's so NICE!" and i'll say modestly, "oh, it's nothing." and smile widely, while nodding my head up and down like a goldfish's business. (and between you and me? we know what that means alright!)

imagination, imagination. fantasy, fantasy. but one day, it'll all be REALITY, REALITY! because!
i've been watching makeover shows for rooms and got a few DIY ideas. not to mention how i recently found out that Ikea's supposedly very very cheap. and their designs are very very nice. i don't know if that's reliable or not, but i'd very much like to believe that. because it somehow brings my room makeover closer to reality. :D:D

can't wait for everything to fall into place! braces, laptop, handphone, room makeover. one thing at a time, audrey, atta girl!
