heyhey! i've changed a new blogskin
again.
haha, i don't know. have been checking out blogskins.com so oftenly, i feel so fickle-minded for changing blogskins so oftenly. haha. i can't help it. unless i really fall in love with a blogskin, i will keep on changing my blogskins. :D
this font is kinda hard to read, but i'm lazy to change the font. and anyway, i haven't tried this font before. so, why not? haha. butbutbut, i cannot bold or italicise, if not you won't be able to read what i type since the colours are so close to each other. which is why i can only underline for emphasis. i can't strike an emphasis out, can i? that's contradicting each other.
well, i finished one point of philo, like i said in the previous post. i just need to add some touches and come up with a second point. i think the second point would a lil harder, since i'd have to deal with the actual ethics.
andandand, for the Yong Shu Hoong talk that we're going to have tomorrow? yes, I HAVE TO INTRODUCE AGAIN! oops. i forgot that you can't see caps. fine.
i have to introduce the speaker again! like the last time i introduced Paul Tan (who conveniently interrupted me and waved me away. not to mention how i screwed it up with my unorganized script!). i won't do it, if not for the fact that i have to present a book review anyway, so why not just go ahead and introduce Yong Shu Hoong? i might as well get as much "experience" as i can in the meantime.
gah. stupid book review. i haven't chosen a book yet. and i'm not going to Twilight, that's for sure. i think i shall do Stardust by Neil Gaiman. it's supposedly a comic thing, but it's mainly words, with more illustrations than normal novels. the storyplot is pretty interesting and there are some... interesting facts/changes stuff.
oh right! the timed assignment today! oh man, that was so badly done. i don't think i will fail, but i won't do very well either. i wrote so unneccessarily! haha, i don't have a better word to describe it. hiyah! don't want to talk about it anymore, so depressing.
and then our english teacher came in with spectacles today! she looked so weird! like she aged suddenly or something. her glasses were so round, i thought of harry potter almost immediately. which is why i appreciate her beauty without spectacles. and that's a good thing. it's a compliment.
this incident makes me think about how many people actually wears contact lenses. i always thought that people who don't wear spectacles have perfect eyesight. it has never ever occurred to me that they might possibly be wearing contacts. how weird, right? maybe it's just me. it's the same way how i always marvel at how celebrities' hair can grow out so fast. one moment they cut their hair and i gasp at it. the next moment, they sprout their long hair back and i just gawk at them. it wasn't until my mom told me about a wonderful invention of
wigs that everything fell into place. stupid me.
wellwell. better be starting on that horrible formal letter for newsweek. and if i have the time, chinese mindmap.
this week is such a horribly terrible week. i have so many things overdued. i have so many homework. wait. i think i'm just not going to hand in my formal letter! she can't grade it! and even if she does, then i shall just give in to her once. i mean, i shall try to work hard for other things, and hopefully, it might pull the marks up.
yippee! i shall now go and do my--
crap.
there's math test tomorrow toooooooo!
crapcrapcrapcrapcrap.
now i have chinese mindmap, philo 2 points
and study for math test.
you see? what i told you about me being absolutely and completely packed?! i'm just awfully grateful for the fact that philo term paper's going to be all over after friday. in fact, almost everything would be over after friday.
so, please, friday come quick!!!
ps. crap, ms tan just asked me to google Yong Shu Hoong's biography and i was like "can you do it? because i have lots of overdued homework". that's suicide, right? but she's at some film screening. so maybe she's in a good mood and would probably forgive me, right? right right right? pfft.
what a week!
pps. miss tan is really the nicest teacher ever! she said "no prob". and with a smiley face. my goodness, she's really too good to be true. well, thank goodness for her goodness.
ppps. i realise that the whole underlining thing is also very hard to read, which is why i suggest you just highlight one whole chunk of words with your cursor and read it from there. all good?
pppps. the song's really nice. but if you can't hear it, then too bad. i actually can't hear it on my com too. but no fear, it's in my handphone too.
ppppps. OMG, miss tan is
beyond nice. i thank her for being so nice and she says "no prob" since "it's all so late notice". pinch me, somebody, just pinch me.
