i went out with Emilayyyye, baby!

and jacq too! oh gosh, 16 February 2007 is going down in audrey's personal calendar! what a marvy day it is today.

let's start from the start of today. building up the suspense, heh.

well, so i went to school and first period was geog. emg, i was completely on my own-- a one-woman show. honestly, i think i have thoroughly lost all face. well, Hakuna Matata! hahha. well, natchin, if you're reading this, i think we did pretty well and that we stand quite a good chance in getting some land if we don't screw up the government's q&a. be well, soong thik! jopu kini needs you.

thenthen it was philo and i discussed philo with ning. haha, it's so hard when teachers expect a certain thing from you. miss tan wants us to be able to be analytical, laoshi wants me to have a systematic thinking (or something like that) and ms bong wants us to delve deeper into what we believe and change our mindset. so anyway, that's philosophy for you. i don't quite like it. i think it's pretty unhealthy to question (what i deem as) uneccessary stuff.

after philo was chinese. and during chinese, we had our chinese test. i guess it was okay, but what i think okay doesn't usually turn out okay. but that's that.

THEN, IT'S RECESS! how exciting. i stayed in class for a bit though-- reading jingning's commonwealth essay, then reccomending a book to her, going to library to return the book so she could borrow it, come back down and meet the NJ people (maxine, kara, yiting, cara). saw jacq so i hung out with her for a while before going up to her class and chilling out with julia too.

then we embarked on the mission of finding emily, since she said that she was going to come to mg to see all the teachers. we couldn't find her in time. i got quite discouraged that she wasn't coming to mg, but nevermind, i was going to meet her for shopping anyway.

emg, celebrations were funny in the Total Defence half, but plain boring in the Chinese New Year half. maybe singing was a little high, but hello, i had to go through how long of horrifying boredom. my eyes were struggling to stay open.

FINALLY, when the celebrations were over, i practically flew down because there was a photoshoot. but i entered class and out jumps Emily who exclaims, "Audrey!"

human instinct kicks in while i'm still in shock, so i hug her and start screaming my head off. but then, i realise how long i've not seen her and that i really really miss her lotslots, so i started crying. HAHA, couldn't stop. she cried too, when she saw me crying. it was a while, but then i saw how funny we were, crying at such a happy moment, and started laughing. laughter is contagious, i tell you. so she laughed too. it was such a emotional moment, with the both of us screaming and crying and laughing within ten minutes.

yes, that was one climax of the day. i'd never forget it lah. how many people cry when they see their best friend again? ONE. and who's that? (embarrassingly) ME.

i had to go collect my black specs, of which i dubbed my Intellectual Spectacles, from my mom. she was kind enough to bring it over since i left it at home. but she smsed to say that she'd be late, so i went ahead with the photoshoot first.

the photoshoot was hilarious and horrible(the pictures with me turned out DISGUSTING. i hope the person editing all those have superb photoshop skills. they'd need it).

it dragged on pretty long, but then when i could finally go, i flew out and me, jacq&emily went to the concourse to wait for my mum. she said that there was a jam outside, so i offered to walk out, since it sounded faster and easier. so we did. i got my specs from my mum, then my father offered a ride to jacq's house. :D

but then, Fate intervenes here and nobody is in jacq's house! i left my plastic bag(of Old Specs& clothes) there, while she left her files. i realise that i left my purse at school.

then we came up with a plan while walking out of jacq's condo (which is quite a long way, actually). we would take a cab to mgs, i run to get my purse and then the same cab driver would drive us to the nearest mrt station.

great plan! except that the cab driver we met was super weirded out. i shall do a nicole and roughly outline our conversation.

cab driver (cd): where do you want to go?
jacq, audrey or emily (jae [HAHA]): mgs.
cd: where's mgs?
jae: errr, near Maple Woods.
(cd nods head and jae pile into cab.)
jae: how can he not know where mgs is?
jae: yeah!
cd: how can you say that? i ask you where's SP, do you know?
jae: ehhh, no.
cd: see? SP stands for Singapore Power!
(jae laughs)
cd: SP can also stand for Singapore Poly!
(jae continues to laugh)
cd: now i tell you what SP means, then you girls laugh. all of you very cute leh.
(jae glances at each other. E laughs.)

there were so many more other weird parts of the conversation, but this was the beginning to it all. the uncle's plain weird.

well, going on. so apparently, if we wanted to go to vivo, which is in harbourfront, the nearest mrt station would be the Dover mrt station. he stopped there, we paid him, and we got off.

we found the toilet, where emily could change out into her mg uniform, jacq could pee and i could tidy up my hair and pee.

when we were finally all set, we went to wait for the train. emily proceeds to laugh at how high my socks are so i took my shoes off and adjusted the socks. they shrunk into ankle socks.

so yes, it wasn't such a long time from Dover to Outram and then to Harbourfront. we mainly talked all the way to vivo.

then at vivo, we decided to have lunch at Marche! jacq's treat. :D we ate deepfried calamari, half a kampong chicken, rootbeer, coke and crepes with ice-cream.

the crepes were.. okay, i shan't say horrible. just, not up to expectations. yes.

then, it was shopping! well, for jacq that is. we shopped for such a long time, but i don't think she bought anything! ah well.

then they whined about going to my house, and being the nice audrey i always am, i finally gave in and called my mom for permission. yesyes, they'd be coming over.

so, we took the mrt from Harbourfront to Dhoby Ghaut then to Choa Chu Kang. it was a long ride, and we laughed and laughed AND LAUGHED. i think we, like, totally ruined mgs' reputation. we laughed about people on mrt, we laughed about each other, we laughed about unfunny things, we laughed about everything and anything! i swear, it's the first time in such a long that i've laughed so much.

we laughed a whole hour away, that's how much we laughed. i love laughing and i almost forgot how much i loved it. the word itself's already so special, not to mention the ACTUAL thing. laughing rocks.

well, we reached choa chu kang and had to take the lrt to my house. it's the second time emily went on one and the FIRST time for jacq! haha, it was so adorable seeing them so fascinated about the screens going opaque and translucent.

then, we finally dropped off and had to run in the rain for shelter. we walk walk walk until my house.

really lah, my house ain't very nice. it's just that they haven't stepped into my house before since sec1. but it's so far and so boring, come for what?

haha, anyways, i gave them a little tour around my house and showed them my new year clothes. we turned on the teevee and watched hanakimi for a short while. OH YES, we ordered pizza.

thenthen, i decided to show emily and jacq my new heels. but they saw my mom's entire collection of shoes and they went crazy-- trying on every shoe they think they liked. so funny! they were like little girls in a toy shop. jacq even said that if my mom wanted to throw any away, give it to her instead! hahaha.

shortly after that, jacq had to go off and we both gave her farewell hugs. emily stayed on for her pizza.

the pizza only arrived at 8.20? yeah, we talked and watched tv while waiting for the pizza. when it finally came, whoooo, let's all eat!

then we went down to wait for my parents at nine, but they didn't come until quite late. i was still talking to emily.

my parents came and on the way to her house, i continued talking to emily.

finally, we reached her house, and she has to go. ))))): it was such a wonderful day! we say byebye.

so well, i guess this would be the main motivation to move on in life until the next time we have an awesome time like this. the last time was when we all went to jacq's house. you know the daydream that i said i had?

really, ever since sec1, i've somehow visioned you(jacq), me and emily to be those inseparable friends, even until old. i was a nice feeling, when i daydreamed about how in the future, when we reach 20, we'd still conference and laugh. we'd still shop together and remain the three best friends. i don't know. it's just a nice daydream. hope it'll come true.:/

yups, that daydream? yes, it felt like that dream came alive today! it was like the old times again and gahhhhh, how i miss those days!

emily, please oh please transfer back IF you can. my mom told me something that i shall tell you on the phone some other time. really, if you do, you'd make me the happiest girl on Earth. maybe i can't get 2g all over again, but having emily in 3t'll make it better.

wellwell, it's 12.20AM and i've been blogging for a long time. it's been a long day, haven't it?
