040606--
(yesterday).
i went to Fuji Ice Palace early in the morning at around 11.45. i had to participate in some tug-o-war thingy.
get this.
i'll have to get onto the ice with my track shoes and pull some rope with all my strength ,
which is something not to be under estimated,
and fall on my butt/back/elbows/head.
...
so cool right?
i know!
never in these fourteen pathetic years have i tugged in any war and when i
finally got this marvelous chance,
i had to be late and miss it.go on.
you can hit me and tell me how idiotic i am. for once, i will probably agree with you and hit myself too.
...
URGH.
i cant stand it. i just CANT.
when i reached there
late, i couldnt find emily
or pearly
or aunty betty.
and thus leading to audrey tan, who was wearing the mgs pe shirt with black track pants, walking to and fro the exact same spots, looking like an
absolute extra idiot.
it just about serves me right.
sigh.
i shall stop it because as i am typing this, i am forced to remember how idiotically idiotic an idiot like me can get.
anyways,me and emily went to junction eight to have our
manicure done.
it was so impromptu and exciting at the same time.
this is audrey's first time ever to have her nails done, something which she has been dreaming of since she was p3.
(so please pardon audrey as she describes the wonderful experience oh-so-detailedly.)
we went there the first thing we reached junction eight. it wasnt hard to spot; just beside the escalator with females sitting on pink tables, sticking their hand out, looking bored.
shift your eyes upwards slightly if in doubt.
Nails in Vogue.
ah. you spot the word 'nail' and you know you're right.anyways, yeah. it was kinda crowded and we asked if they were free. they said they were kinda busy and asked if we wanted to make an appointment, to which we accepted. so at 2.30pm, we thanked the receptionist and said we'll be back at 4.30pm.
right.
we now have 2 whole hours to spend. hmmm. what do we do?
not to fret. we planned to watch a movie anyway, so we went to buy the tickets.
but lo and behold!
there is no She's the Man!
):
we left with heads hanging.
we started shopping anyway. we shopped and looked around till The Clock Struck Four Thirty.
BLINK!
we were there in a blink of an eye.
emily started her manicure first, and after two minutes, i sat down beside her and started on mine too.
so, my manicurist (whose name i cant remember even though i looked at her name tag.) asked me if i wanted a square cut or a round cut.
i thought for a while and said round cut. but emily advised me to get a square cut. so i took it and changed it to a square cut.
so she filed my nails and then went on to buff them.
after buffing, she put some lotion thingy onto my hands and gave them a small massage. it was so nice and comfortable. soon, she asked me what colour i wanted my nails to be.
manicurist (m) : what colour you want your nails to be?
audrey (a): err.. pink.
m: light pink?
a: hmm.. baby pink?
m: (stands up then turns around to face me again) you want it to be a little shiny?
a: huh?
m: want it to be glittery?
a: ok.
right. so she went to take a nail polish colour that best suits what i want. she showed it to me and i just nodded my head. as long as it's pink, it's okay to me.
she applied a base coat, the two layers of the coloured nail polish, then asked me if i wanted nail art.
i nodded my head.
she drew flowers on the fourth fingernail of my hands. (haha tricia, those were my favourite fingernails! (x )
then she put the final layer of top coat and then i let my nails dry.
TADAH!
my nails are nice and pink now, i cant believe they are my nails la.
sigh.
once again, audrey's one happy girl.
