i went to the airport in the evening to fetch my grandma back from New Zealand. (: she hurt her ankle and it was so heart-wrenching seeing her hold back tears as she tried assuring us that it didnt hurt.
we could quite tell cos 1) if it didnt hurt, why did it bleed so much? 2) she limped real bad. so we fussed over her quite a bit and gave her get-well-soon carnations. i do hope she feels better!
ohohoh!
i saw this scene which i thought was super cute!
there was this two little caucasian girls. one was about 4 and another 2. yeahh. so they were playing with each other, looking bored.
then they spot their grandmother!
the 4-year-old girl ran faster to her grandmother, shouting, "Grannie! Grannie!" in that sweet high-pitched voice.
the little 2-year-old girl was struggling to catch up, shouting, "Ni Ni! Ni Ni!". awww. it was so cute. she couldnt pronounce grannie properly.
haha when they reached their grandmother after a not-very-long-jog, they had such a sweet group hug! and then the grannie asked, "did you miss me?" and the 2-year-old girl nodded her head vigorously, "Me misses Ni Ni." the 4-year-old girl said "me too! me too!"
(:
it was so sweet.

happy fathers' day, daddy!silly me forgot that it was daddy's day and was watching disney channel while my daddy bugged us on going out for dinner.
when we finally went to bukit panjang plaza for dinner at Bistro Delifrance, it just hit me that it was daddy's day.
stupid audrey.
i told him i'll buy a present for him at kl. but he said there was no need to buy a present for him.
we looked at him dubiously.
he tried convincing us by saying that he may not even like the present that we bought him.
still, we looked at him dubiously.
then he says in exasperation[sp?] that all he wants is for us to get good results and be good.
hmm. we finally look away and think in our heads, "this is one present he ain't gonna like either."
haha. nah. he always says that's what he wants. it's been his birthday present once, a daddy's day present twice, and a christmas present twice too. so that's like five times already.
audrey has just decided to buy her father a present no matter what.
