anyways, camp.

camp was awesome mann!

i mean, even though the bunks and the toilets were hardly meant for us, homo sapiens, i think we can manage.

the swamp trek was also a bit, off. i mean, trekking in mud alone is enough for us to all wither up and die. but a mudfight? no way! i got all dirty and disgusting and wishing i was anywhere but there. haha.

ohohh.

the first day, we had the waterfall trek. it was cool. especially when we jumped into the waterfall and screamed and had fun. woah. that was a great beginning.

heh.

then second day was all the activities. in camp-language, elements. yeahh. i fell for the stupid single log. but other than that, it was quite ok, to be honest.

the third day? the CAMPFIRE!

whooo. i super love the campfire. i got all high and crazy. haha.

the last day. it was so sad ok. i mean, at first i was like hey! this is the first time im saying goodbye without crying cos i wanted to go home so badly.

but then germaine had to give a speech. she just had to. she had to tell us how great everything was for her and how fun it was. she had to say that she was willing to be not paid and be our trainer.

she just had to make me cry.

i began being all emo. like, mann. i've been having fun with the Funky Monkeys for the past three days. i've went through so much. i wouldnt be able to do all these without germaine and i wont be able to see her ever again.

it was a once in a lifetime kinda thing.

yeah. the bunks and toilets were inhuman.

yeah. there were stupid leeches and killer mozzies.

yeah. i fell into the dirty water.

yeah. i was out of my comfort zone for three whole days.

but, i managed to pee and bathe.

but, i managed to defeat the leech and mozzies.

but, i managed to get out of the water.

but, i managed to toughen up.

most importantly, i managed to have fun in the process. i cheered and won bonus points. i made friends too. seventeen new friends. wow.

now, when i walk past york ying, bernice, andrea, davelle, cassie, cassandra, shannen, dorothy, divya, charisse, daphne, joy, amanda and kelly in school, i can smile and wave at them cos they were part of the Funky Monkeys.

i became better friends with tricia and sophia. i bonded even more with cara.

looking back, there really should be more of camps like this.

so, i guess i shall go now.
